The business was developed by myself, Bernie Sowa, with an impressive portfolio of specialist Event Management for the local government I have a wealth of experience in the Education Technology and Corporate Events industry organising events both locally and nationally.

With 21 years experience in organising events such as ICT Conferences, Seminars, Technology Workshops, Digital Award Ceremonies and large scale Exhibitions, my ambition was to take these skills to the next level and establish my own Events Management Company.

Diamond Events was established in 2009 and with meticulous attention to detail, inspiration and creative flair we pride ourselves in making our events a success.

With my own personal love of diamond and glamorous accessories being incorporated into the Diamond Events image we found we were overwhelmed with the amount of interest and requests to purchase our own display items at our first event.  With such demand and interest I was more than happy to indulge myself in creating the Diamond Heaven range of gifts, accessories and now special occasion wear.  “It’s a joy to source new and exciting products, knowing that the quality and value for money reflects our brand ethic.”

We opened our first Diamond Heaven Gifts & Accessories store at Captain Cook Square, Middlesbrough in 2012 which sold a wide range of wedding and prom accessories and all occasion gifts.  We relocated to a larger store in 2015 on Dundas Street Middlesbrough and extended our product range to include Bridesmaid Dresses, Flowergirl Dresses, Pageboy Suits, Christening Dresses, Communion Dresses, Veils, Fascinators and all occasion accessories.
